Terms of Service

1. The Service

Versume is a web application that uses AI to tailor resumes to job descriptions, and provides a job application tracker. Features may change over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Versume. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account & security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us immediately at terebeytechnologies@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload (resumes, job descriptions, tracker entries, LaTeX projects). You grant Versume a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service to you — including passing it to our AI subprocessors for tailoring. We do not use your content to train any AI model, and we do not share it with anyone other than the subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Service for content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes intellectual property.
• Attempt to access other users’ data, bypass rate limits, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without written authorization.
• Resell or sublicense the Service.
• Automate access beyond what our public API allows (we currently provide no public API; browser-driven access only).

6. AI-generated content — important disclaimer

The tailored output is produced by large language models. It may contain errors, fabrications, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing every output before submitting it to an employer. Versume does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any specific outcome from using the Service.

7. Subscriptions & billing

Versume offers a free tier (25 tailors per calendar month) and a paid Pro tier. Paid subscriptions are monthly and auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via Settings → Subscription → Manage billing; access continues through the end of the paid period.

If a renewal payment fails, we will keep your Pro access active for up to 7 days while payment is retried. After that, you will be downgraded to the free tier until payment succeeds. We do not issue refunds for partial months.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.

8. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, or remove features. If we remove a feature you rely on and you have an active paid subscription, we will, at your option, prorate a refund for the remainder of the period.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Versume disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terebey Technologies LLC’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Terebey Technologies LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in King County, Washington, before a single arbitrator — except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court if eligible.

You and Versume waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email. The latest version is always at versume.co/terms.
